Gaited horse trainer, Dick Peebles, is scheduled to be back in court next month for a preliminary hearing. The Tennessee horse trainer and riding instructor is charged with two counts of sexual battery, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means and solicitation of a minor. He was arrested in January after the parents of one of his alleged female victim's contacted officials. The charges involved separate incidents that allegedly occurred at Peebles' farm, Dick Peebles Stables.
Shortly after Peebles' arrest, the Walking Horse Trainers' Association took action against the Celebration Hall of Fame Member. The organization said, "due to the severity of the charges, the WHTA has suspended the license of Peebles immediately and will issue no further license until a resolution of the outcome has been confirmed."
Peebles is currently out of jail on bond. He is scheduled to be in court on June 20.
